How to gather enhanced e-commerce data using Google Analytics?

The enhanced e-commerce plugin for Google Analytics authorised the evaluation of user interaction with products on e-commerce websites across the user's shopping occurence.

Migration and Compatibility with E- commerce Plug- in: -

If you have already executed e-commerce tracking and want to begin using enhanced e-commerce tracking. There are following options: -

1. New Property: -

You can add the tracker for a new created property and tag the enhanced e-commerce for the newly created property.

2. Migrate existing property: -   

To migrate from the normal e-commerce plug-in to the enhanced e-commerce plug-in, users should replace references with the enhanced e-commerce plug-in code.

Transaction and previous data gathered previously will not be get affect by the migration i.e. it will remain available in the properties.
